The ideas in this section are based on our research into sleep problems, our experience of helping parents who came to a sleep clinic - or, as one parent expressed it, a 'sleepless clinic' and the practice of one of us as a parent.
We wanted to write these guides because the problems are so common and so distressing, and because we felt that many people could be helped by the techniques we had developed if they had the chance to read about them.
